Calling all Columbus High School Females:

Come be part of a great Columbus tradition!

If you will be attending Columbus High School this fall classified as a Freshman through a Senior, you are invited to a Magnolia Belle orientation session from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10 at the Stafford Opera House.

Columbus Historical Preservation Trust, Inc. (CHPT) presents Magnolia Belles (Columbus High School graduating seniors) every year, and CHPT will continue this important tradition for years to come. The first Magnolia Belles were presented in 1964. During the Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Magnolia Festival, the tradition of presenting Magnolia Belles continued for its 53rd year. The Belles are ambassadors of goodwill for CHPT and the City of Columbus.

To become a Magnolia Belle, you must attend an orientation session and volunteer at CHPT events during your high school years. CHPT is spreading the word and encouraging you to participate.

Be part of this special program that’s unique to Columbus! Get a head start this summer and learn all about the program! Questions? Call the CHPT office at 732-5135, or email 1886soh@gmail.com.
