The Annual Meeting of the members of Columbus Historical Preservation Trust will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the Buddy Rau Memorial Meeting Room of the Stafford Opera House (425 Spring St, Columbus). All matters pertinent to the organization will be discussed, and new Directors will be elected. CHPT is proud to promote historic tourism in Columbus and educationally enrich visitors to our unique history. Your membership makes it possible for CHPT to provide tours of some of Columbus’ most historic homes and buildings as well as provide educational field trips for students living in Colorado County. Membership support also provides docent training for high school girls participating in the Magnolia Belle program as well as adult docent training for the properties on tour.
